don't want to store tasks in Outlook

Hi,
I have a lot of tasks in my Outlook folder, while a lot of them are completed. I’m keeping them because I want to be able to see how much I’ve done. But lately the number of such tasks began to get out of hand. Can Outlook Task help me here?
Thanks

Hello, Joe

Here’s what I would do if I were you. With Outlook Task you can create reports listing the tasks you’ve completed over a period of time – this week or last month or whatever. So you might want to generate such reports (To do this, select Fetch Tasks , set the necessary start and due dates, click OK and then Export to HTML with comments if you like).
Choose the period you need depending on the number of tasks you have – you may prefer to have 4 weekly reports instead of a long monthly one. Now you can put those lists in archive or print out and save a hard copy. Now deleting these tasks from Outlook won’t hurt anyone, will it? ;-)
